Ruben Amorim is on a mission to get United back in Europe next season after a miserable 2024-25 campaign. The Portuguese coach has already started his transfer preparations as the Red Devils are on the verge of signing Cunha from domestic rivals Wolves this summer.

After virtually sealing Cunha's transfer, United are now eyeing a move for Brentford star Mbeumo, according to . The Cameroon international had a dream outing with the Bees this season as he appeared in all of their 38 Premier League matches, where he scored 20 goals and provided seven assists. The 25-year-old's current contract expires in 2026 and Brentford are likely to demand a fee in the region of £50 million ($66m).
